About Us

Welcome to the Historic Walter Perkin’s Mansion, circa 1870, located in the quaint village of Cornish, Maine. We are centrally located to many activities and adventures the beautiful state of Maine has to offer: beaches, city life and lobster!  We are close to the New Hampshire White Mountains and all N. Conway has to offer.  We live on property and we leave the interaction level to our wonderful guests! We are very friendly, having spent the majority of our lives in the South…and we, too, love to travel, and would be more than willing to provide suggestions for your trip!

About Keith and Gretchen

Keith is a retired police officer. Gretchen has worked in real estate, HR and fitness.  Currently,  both work in the local school district. They have one son still living at home. 

 

The Benggios love to travel.  They love the arts including movies, plays, the classics and music. Keith creates wonderful cuisine to the enjoyment of our guests, drives his sports car, and enjoys a good craft beer and cigar. Gretchen spends her free time reading, running, decorating and gardening.  Gretchen shares her love of dragonflies, abundantly throughout the historic home. 

 

Gretchen is originally from Ithaca, NY area and Keith from Columbia, SC. They were married on 12-13-14 and have moved to Maine from the Greenville, SC to pursue their dream of operating a B&B!!

 

They are looking foward to offering their home and town for y'all to enjoy and experience!
